Using slow growing local timbers such as oak and elm, ash and yew, and traditional lore, designer and cabinetmaker Tom Luxmoore fashions unique and durable furniture of all types in his workshop in rural Suffolk. Solid wood is used throughout, with a sympathetic understanding of its natural properties and finishing is just oil and wax. Wood is a wonderful material, infinitely variable in colour and pattern and it deserves better than diminishment by mass production.
