My work may be free-standing or fitted, with clean, unfussy contremporary lines. I use mostly native hardwoods. I love the natural endless variety of wood, its tactile qualities, the differing working characteristics even within the same plank, and enjoy something special and unique from the materials I am lucky to be able to work with. I also get great satisfaction from achieving and maintaining very high standards of workmanship which helps me in my aim of making furniture which will be a joy to others and will bring visual and practical pleasure for years to come. I acknowledge, too, a wish to make a mark in some way, to leave something behind
