Essex Craft Society

I have been interested in craftwork since my early teens, when I visited a works craft show and experienced a buzz of excitement about about what the craftsmen had made.
Although I have earned my living in offices, I have done cabinet making, fine art and ship modelling as hobbies. More recently, I have received tuition in woodturning from Keith Donald and Don White.
Recent exhibitions and awards: Craft fairs in Essex and beyond. Work has been sold through various commissions, and by galleries in Saffron Walden and Cambridge.
Interests: The Aesthetic characteristics of wood. Art, countryside, history.
